It’s rare to find a place like this in the middle of nowhere, New England. As soon as we arrived to Aldworth Manor, we were immediately transported to the Italian countryside. It is a quiet, bucolic place with rolling hills, a historic mansion and beautiful old stone gardens.
When we first discovered it, our mind ran wild with creative ideas for what a wedding at a location like this one would look like. Both Jerica from Etcetera Event Co and myself are huge fans of a minimalist and understated aesthetic so using the manor as our source of inspiration, we planned every detail with simplicity and elegance in mind.
We worked with the unbelievable talents of Green Lion Design who is a New England Based floral designer who created two large installations to adorn the mantles in two of the rooms we used. Her eye for soft movement in her floral designs make for romantic arrangements that are beautiful and delicate.
All of these elements culminated in a shoot of which we couldn’t be more proud. I can hardly wait to return to this spectacular location and continue to explore new corners and vignettes that I haven’t seen before.
